Integrated Plate Sealing
Integration of the plate sealer into an existing system is nearly plug- and-play, and in most cases can be done by the end user via the unit's RS232 interface. The operator teaches the robotic arm to locate a single access point for loading and unloading a well plate; the plate sealing procedure is controlled by the sealer through its internal programming.

Plate Sealer Operation
Once a plate is positioned at the optic sensor, the automatic slide feeds the plate into the sealing apparatus. After the sealing tape is applied and cut, the automatic slide returns the plate to its starting position for removal by the robotic arm.
